If you don't want to be mesmerize in the race of life, you must develop a tireless spirit to dig deep.
God is not looking for gentle and protocol personality but die-hards. He is looking for people who will make it happen irrespective of what is happening to them.
You must learn to disregard any contrary issue in your life.
Digging deep here does not mean physical exertion of energy but spiritual training and re-training.
It takes inner tenacity and spiritual intensity. It is not for babes, it is for men and women who are skilful. It takes spiritual strength to climb spiritual mountain and if you don't know how to dig deep, you may crash-land.
You cannot dig deep if you don't develop what i call 3 spiritual senses: Body - mouth, eye, ear, skin(muscle), Soul and Spirit (Inner-man).
One of the ways of developing - training and retraining your spiritual senses is constant feeding and re-feeding on spiritual nutrients.
Spiritually speaking, feeding is a concious effort to lay hold on the word of God, listening to sound teachings in church or fellowship and studying christian books.

The force of choice
The difference between a succeeding and failing person is a function of knowledge and choice. Your choice will never leave you the same. They will either make you or mar you.The choice you make is a direct product of knowledge at work in you. The more knowledge you have, the better and stronger your choice. The choice you make is directly limited to the knowledge you have.
One needs to understand that progress in life is not a product of gifts but the choice you make. You are a creature of choice. You are the one that will determine what happen, devil notwithstanding - devil is not a factor in your life. Where you are now is a product of your choice yesterday.
Deutronomy 30:19 says:
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that i have set before you life and death blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.
From the scripture above, one sees that the quality of your life now is a function of choice you made yesterday. I believe the reason why many people is sick, battered, poor, in lack is because they chose to. I chosed to live above the systems of this world based on what i discovered from my Bible. Until you discover, you cannot recover.
Your choice is fortified and enhanced by the quality of knowledge at which you operate. Therefore, the pillars of your choice include Knowledge of God's Word and the Association or Company you keep. Firends, go for knowledge and associate wisely. God bless you!
